EVALUASI PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT (LRT) SEBAGAI UPAYA MENGATASI KEMACETAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Traffic congestion is one of the major issues in Palembang City. This problem is primarily caused by the high number of private vehicles exceeding road capacity. The government has implemented various solutions to reduce traffic volume. This study aims to examine and analyze the evaluation of the implementation of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) program as one of the government’s efforts to address traffic congestion in Palembang. This research uses a qualitative method based on Stufflebeam's CIPP evaluation model. The findings indicate that, in general, the LRT has made a positive contribution as a solution to the congestion problem, although several challenges remain, such as limited public participation, uneven feeder service coverage, long headway intervals, and a limited number of train units.
