EDUSAWIT: IMPLEMENTASI AUGMENTED REALITY DALAM EDUKASI TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT RAMAH LINGKUNGAN
This study aims to develop the EduSawit application as an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning medium to support environmentally friendly oil palm cultivation education. The research method uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes the conceptualization, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution stages. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing to ensure that key features, such as marker scanning, 3D object visualization, and educational information presentation, worked as designed. The test results showed that all application functions worked well in various scenarios, so that technically the application was declared suitable for use as an interactive learning medium. However, this study is still limited to technical testing in a controlled environment, so it cannot yet conclude its pedagogical effectiveness. Further research is recommended to include direct trials with oil palm farmers to assess the increase in knowledge, user experience, and the educational impact of the application in the field.
