PENGEMBANGAN FLIPBOOK DIGITAL UNTUK KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MEMBACA ANAK MELALUI CERITA SEJARAH PEMPEK DI TK B YASPA

This study aimed to develop a digital flipbook based on historical story of pempek as a reading literacy medium for children aged 5-6 years. The main problem addressed in this study was the limited availability of learning media that are able to attract children’s interest and maintain their focus effectively. Therefor, innovative and interactive learning media that are appropriate to the developmental characteristics of early childhood are needed. The development of the digital flipbook employed a research and development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which cosist of the stages of define, design, develod, and disseminater. The results of material expert validation indicated a feasibility level of 96,42% categorized as “Versy Valid”, wile media expert validation obtained a score of 92,5%, also categorized as “Very Valid”. In addition, the responses of teachers as learning practitioners showed a percentage of 97,9%, Categorized as “Very Practical”. It can be concluded that the digital flipbook based on the historical story of pempek is highly valid and feasile for use as a learning mediun in classroom activities.
