PENGEMBANGAN SKALA BERBASIS WEB UNTUK MENGUKUR TINGKAT KECEMASAN SISWA YANG MENGALAMI MASALAH PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK
Anxiety is a person's worry about what will happen in the future. Anxiety is an emotional response caused by unpleasant states associated with real or imagined challenges. Academic procrastination is a failure that will occur in the future. Academic procrastination is the failure to complete school assignments within the desired time period or completing work until the last minute. Academic procrastination refers to repeated delays in school assignments and not producing optimal work, which ultimately causes anxiety in individuals. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based electronic scale (e-scale) with validity, reliability, and is practical and effective for measuring the anxiety of students who experience academic procrastination. The research used by researchers is development research. Researchers carried out a pilot test or trial phase involving 37 students in one school who were selected using purposive sampling. Cornbach alpha pilot test was 0.927 as a level of reliability and the instrument was declared reliable. In the final stage, namely the main exam, researchers involved 216 students from two schools with a total of 40 questions, including class XI. Cronbach's alpha produces a value of 0.811. So the resulting scale can be used as a scale to measure the anxiety level of students who experience academic procrastination.
