ANALISIS HUBUNGAN KONSENTRASI, HAMBATAN MASUK PASAR DAN KEUNTUNGAN INDUSTRI PRODUK ROTI DAN KUE (ISIC: 1071) DI INDONESIA PERIODE 1993-2022
This study aims to analyze the relationship between market concentration, entry barriers, and profitability in the bakery and cake products industry in Indonesia. The research uses time series data from 1993 to 2022. The data are based on the 4-digit industrial classification under the ISIC (International Standard Industrial Classification) code 1071, obtained from Statistics Indonesia (Badan Pusat Statistik). This study applies a quantitative descriptive analysis using Spearman correlation. The results show a strong and positive relationship between market concentration (CR4) and entry barriers (MES), with a correlation value of 0.996. This indicates that a higher market concentration is usually associated with higher entry barriers. However, the relationship between CR4 and MES with the level of profitability (PCM) shows an opposite direction but is not statistically significant.
