ANALISIS PENGARUH FAKTOR SOSIAL-EKONOMI DAN TRANSFORMASI TEKNOLOGI TERHADAP KEMISKINAN DI PULAU JAWA
Poverty is a multidimensional phenomenon that reflects structural inequality in development. This also applies to Java Island, which despite its status as the national growth center, continues to face inequality that affects community welfare. Arising from this reality, the present study aims to examine the influence of social, economic, and technological factors on poverty levels across six provinces in Java from 2014 to 2023, using a panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model. The results show that social factors, represented by the Average Years of Schooling and Life Expectancy, are the most dominant determinants in reducing poverty. In addition, the ICT Development Index has a negative effect on poverty, the Open Unemployment Rate has a positive effect, while the Gini Index shows no significant effect.
