ANALISIS DIKSI DAN GAYA BAHASA NOVEL RASA KARYA TERE LIYE SERTA IMPLIKASINYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA

This research examines the diction and language style used in the novel Rasa by Tere Liye. The aims of this research are: (1) To know the results of diction analysis in Tere Liye's novel Rasa. (2) Know the results of linguistic style analysis in the novel Rasa by Tere Liye well. (3) Knowing the implications of the novel Rasa in learning language and literature. This research data is in the form of dialogue and monologue sourced from the novel Rasa by Tere Liye. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The steps for this research are (1) Identifying data based on diction and language style using the techniques of observing, taking notes and reading the novel Rasa by Tere Liye. (2) Classifying the results of data analysis on data sources based on the diction and language style found. (3) Review and describe the results of diction and language style analysis based on data classification. (4) Summarize the results of the analysis systematically in the form of a final report based on the use of diction and language style in the novel Rasa by Tere Liye. The results of the diction analysis which have connotative and denotative meanings are 22 data. The language styles analyzed using Tarigan's theory with four types of language styles found 159 data with different types of language styles, namely (1) Comparative Language Style which was found, namely, 22 data of parables or similes, 13 data of metaphors, 25 data of personification, 1 data of pleonasm, and 5 correction data. (2) The conflicting language styles found were 18 hyperbole data, 5 irony data, 2 satire data, and 15 sarcasm data. (3) The linking language styles found were 4 eponym data, 15 asyndeton data, 2 polysyndeton data. (4) The repetition language styles found were 1 ansonance data, 22 epizeukis data, 9 anaphora. The language style of the character's emotions is based on the language style, namely hatred, sadness and love.
