PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN DAN PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP TINGKAT KEMISKINAN DI INDONESIA
This study aims to determine the effect of education level and unemployment on poverty in Indonesia for the 2003-2022 period. The results of this research show that education as measured by literacy rates has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels, while the unemployment variable has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels in Indonesia. In other words, the higher the literacy rate, the lower the poverty rate, conversely, the higher the unemployment rate, the higher the poverty rate. Based on this research, the government is expected to make improvements in the education sector through programs for equal distribution of educational facilities and infrastructure as well as equal distribution of qualified teaching staff and it is necessary to make efforts to control the unemployment rate so that the poverty level in Indonesia can change for the better.
