Perception is a form of response that occurs within an individual which is obtained from the interpretation of himself and his environment. Everyone has a tendency to see the same thing in a different way. Rice Farmers' Perceptions of the Existence of the Paper Factory Industry in Banyu Biru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Rice farmers have different perceptions of food, so the objectives of this research are: (1) Analyzing the characteristics of rice farmers in Banyu Biru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. (2) Analyze the perceptions of rice farmers in Banyu Biru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency regarding the existence of the Paper Factory Industry. (3) Analyzing the relationship between characteristics and rice farmers' perceptions of the existence of the paper factory industry in Banyu Biru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Banyu Biru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in February 2024. Determining the research location was carried out purposively. The research method used is the survey method. The sampling method in this research used a simple random sampling method, namely 40 rice farmers. The data obtained in this research is in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data processing was analyzed using a Likert scale and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The research results show that the average perception of rice farmers regarding the existence of the Paper Factory Industry is classified as moderate. The real relationship between the characteristics of rice farmers and the perceptions of rice farmers and the existence of the Paper Factory Industry. In the variables of education and land area.
