The purpose of this study was to determine the role of grit in fear of failure among fresh graduates who are looking for work. The hypothesis of this study is that grit plays a role in fear of failure among fresh graduates seeking employment. The population of this study consisted of fresh graduates currently seeking jobs. The sample size included 218 fresh graduates currently seeking jobs and 60 fresh graduates in a tryout test. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The study employed measurement instruments based on the dimensions of grit from Duckworth (2007) and the dimensions of fear of failure from Conroy (2001).
