This research discusses the role of the family welfare empowerment organization (PKK) in empowering women's groups in Pulau Semambu Village, Ogan Ilir. This study aims to determine how the PKK Organization's Role in Empowering Women's Groups in Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The theory used in this research is the theory put forward by Jim Ife & Frank (2016) which focuses on four dimensions, namely the facilitating role, the educational role, the representation role, the technical role. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, documentation, observation, literature study. The results showed that the role of PKK in empowering women's groups in Pulau Semambu Village has not gone well. The role of facilitating is still not maximized because the support and facilities provided are still limited. The role of education through training is rare and very dependent on external parties, as well as the constraints of limited facilities and infrastructure. PKK's representation role is successful by obtaining resources such as funding, labor, and training as well as utilizing information media and building good networks. The technical role has not been maximized, only a few members can use computers for administration, and limited computer equipment is an obstacle, and in financial management it is also not optimal due to limited funds.
