Neck pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints across various age groups, including elementary school-aged children, and may be influenced by postural factors such as Forward Head Posture (FHP). This study aimed to analyze the relationship between FHP and neck pain among elementary school students. An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 54 fifth-grade students at SDN 149 Palembang. FHP was assessed through posture documentation, while neck pain complaints were evaluated using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and binary logistic regression with the Backward Likelihood Ratio method to control for confounding variables such as gender, obesity, non-ergonomic posture, and screen time. The result showed that 28 students (51,9%) were female and 26 students (53,7%) were male. A total of 29 student (53,7%) reported neck pain, and 22 students (40,7%) had Forward Head Posture (FHP). There was no significant relationship between FHP and neck pain after controlling for confounding factors (p=0,885). In conclusion, FHP was no significantly associated with neck pain among students at 149 Palembang.
