TINGKAT KESEJAHTERAAN PETANI PLASMA KELAPA SAWIT DI DESA MARGO BHAKTI KECAMATAN MESUJI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR

The objectives of this research are (1) To calculate the income of oil palm plasma farmers in Margo Bhakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency; (2) To calculate the contribution of oil palm farming income to the household income of plasma farmers in Margo Bhakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency; (3) To analyze the welfare level of plasma farmers based on the proportion of food and non-food expenditures in Margo Bhakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Margo Bhakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The method used in this research is the survey method. The sampling method used is simple random sampling. The data used in this research consists of primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out from December 2024 until completion. The conclusions of this research are (1) The household income of oil palm plasma farmers in Margo Bhakti Village obtained an average income of IDR 108,307,311/ household/year, where oil palm farming income was IDR 54,857,215/ household/year, other farming income was IDR 13,130,095/household/year, and non-farming income was IDR 40,320,000/year; (2) The contribution of oil palm farming income carried out by plasma farmers in Margo Bhakti Village is 51% to farmer household income; (3) The welfare level of oil palm plasma farmers in Margo Bhakti Village falls into the moderate welfare category, with 45 respondents included in the moderate welfare category with a percentage of 90%, and 5 respondents included in the high welfare category with a percentage of 10%, which means that oil palm plasma farmer households in Margo Bhakti Village are prosperous households.
