This research aims to analyze the contribution of oil palm farming to the total income and welfare of oil palm farmers in Cengkong Abang Village. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews with oil palm farmers. The objectives of this study are: (1) to calculate the income level of oil palm farmers in Cengkong Abang Village, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency; (2) to calculate the contribution of oil palm farming to the income of oil palm farmers in Cengkong Abang Village, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency; and (3) to analyze the welfare level of oil palm farmers in Cengkong Abang Village, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency. The analysis uses all income data collected. The results show that oil palm farming contributes significantly, accounting for 62% of farmers’ total income. The Farmers’ Household Income Exchange Rate (NTPRP) averages 0.79, and the average annual income from oil palm farming is IDR 25,123,567 per hectare per year. These findings indicate that farmers in this area have a relatively low level of welfare. Therefore, it is recommended that they adopt income diversification strategies to reduce dependence on a single commodity.
