PENGUKURAN KESIAPAN ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA MASYARAKAT TANI DESA GELEBAK DALAM KEC. RAMBUTAN BANYUASIN DENGAN METODE DIGITAL LITERACY INDEX

This study aims to measure the digital literacy index of the farming community in Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, using the Digital Literacy Index method, which consists of four dimensions, namely Digital Skills, Digital Ethics, Digital Safety, and Digital Culture. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with respondents. This study involved 34 farmers in Gelebak Dalam Village. The results showed that the average digital literacy index of the farmers in Gelebak Dalam Village was 3.82, which is categorized as good. The highest index value was found in the Digital Ethics dimension, which was categorized as very good (index of 4.18), indicating that the farming community is able to maintain security, comfort, and manners when interacting in the digital space. Meanwhile, the Digital Safety dimension falls into the moderate category (index of 3.18), indicating that effort to improve digital literacy among farmers in terms of security are still needed.
