PROFIL HEMATOLOGI PADA PASIEN LNH NASOFARING YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RS MOHAMMAD HOESIN TAHUN 2021-2024
Background: Nasopharyngeal non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is an extranodal lymphoid malignancy of the head and neck that is treated with systemic chemotherapy. Chemotherapy may be accompanied by changes in hematological parameters; therefore, monitoring of hematological profiles is required. Data regarding the hematological profile of patients with nasopharyngeal NHL in Indonesia are still limited. This study aimed to describe the hematological profile of patients with nasopharyngeal NHL undergoing chemotherapy. Method: This was a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design using secondary data from medical records of patients with nasopharyngeal NHL who underwent chemotherapy at Mohammad Hoesin Hospital, Palembang, during the period 2021–2024. Total sampling was applied, and 13 patients were included. Variables assessed included baseline characteristics as well as hematological and renal function parameters before and after chemotherapy.
