ANALISIS SISTEM BUY THE SERVICE (BTS) DALAM PELAYANAN TRANSPORTASI UMUM (STUDI KASUS TEMAN BUS KOTA PALEMBANG)

This study aims to determine the analysis of Buy the Service (BTS) system in public transportation service through Teman Bus Palembang city and the inhibiting factors and supporting factors. Data collection techniques used through in-depth interviews, observation, literature and documentation. As for the main data source, information was obtained from PT. Trans Musi Palembang Jaya employees such as the head of the operational section, the head of the workshop and warehouse, administrative and financial staff, and the Teman Bus Palembang user community. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and documentation. This study uses theory of system analysis from Jogiyanto which consists of 4 ways to analyze the system is Identify, Understand, Analyze based on 5 assessment criteria namely Relevance, Capacity, Efficiency, Security and Economy, as well as report. The result of the study indicate that Buy the Service system implemented through Teman Bus Palembang has not run optimally. As for the factors that affect the Buy the Servicesystem through Teman Bus Palembang, namely inhibiting factors. The inhibiting factors are IT tools that often experience problems, infrastructure such as bus stops and sidewalk that are still not repaired, the transit system is not enforced, routes often change, and users and the Teman Bus load factor are low. While the supporting factors include various aspects, namely commitment aspects, aspect of support for studies, as well as push and pull aspects.
