IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM REKAPITULASI PRESENSI PEGAWAI KANTOR DIREKTORAT JENDERAL BEA CUKAI SUMATERA BAGIAN TIMUR MENGGUNAKAN METODE BPR
The employee attendance recap process plays an important role in supporting personnel management and managerial decision-making in government institutions. However, at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of Eastern Sumatra, the attendance recap process is still conducted manually by combining attendance, leave, and official duty data obtained from several separate systems. This condition causes inefficiency, increases the potential for errors, and makes it difficult for management to monitor employee attendance quickly and accurately. This study aims to implement a web-based employee attendance recap system that is integrated by applying the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) approach to improve process efficiency and effectiveness. The object of this research is the employee attendance recap process at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of Eastern Sumatra. The method used consists of BPR stages, namely identify process, review update analyze as-is, design to-be, and test and implement to-be, which are then implemented into a web-based system using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL technologies. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method on seven use cases with a total of twenty-five test cases. The results show that the developed system is able to integrate attendance, leave, and official duty data and simplify business processes from fifteen activities in the as-is condition to ten unique activities in the to-be condition. All system tests met the functional requirements, with a testing success rate of 100%.
