PERANCANGAN ANTARMUKA SISTEM MANAJEMEN GUDANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE TASK CENTERED SYSTEM DESIGN BERBASIS HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION (Studi Kasus: PT Telkom Akses Palembang)
The Warehouse Management System (WMS) at PT Telkom Akses Palembang still faces challenges with its user interface, such as an outdated appearance, unintuitive navigation, and minimal inform ation visualization, which hinder the efficiency of warehouse staff. This study aims to redesign the web-based WMS interface using a Human Computer Interaction (HCI) approach through the Task Centered System Design (TCSD) method, which includes task identification, needs analysis, scenario design, and interface evaluation. The design process involved creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, which were then evaluated through usability testing with Maze across four task scenarios. The test results showed a Task Success Rate (TSR) of 100%, along with Time on Task (ToT), Error Rate (ER), and Click Rate (CR) metrics falling within the good category, indicating increased effectiveness, ease of use, and navigation accuracy compared to the previous system. This study concludes that the TCSD method is effective in producing a more intuitive WMS interface design that supports operational processes, and it can serve as a reference for developing PT Telkom Akses’s internal systems as well as further research in the field of logistics inform ation system interfaces.
