This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the South Sumatra Province Regional Inspectorate organization. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation regarding organizational effectiveness. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively by applying the theory put forward by Duncan in Steers (1985:53), namely Goals, Integration and Adaptation. Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the organization of the South Sumatra Province Regional Inspectorate has not been fully successful because it is still hampered by the fact that the achievement of the strategic objectives of the South Sumatra Province Regional Inspectorate from 2020 to 2021 has not met the target and experienced a decline in 2022 with achievements performance of 88.24% in 2020, 94.12% in 2021, and 85% in 2022, of the target which should be achieved 100%, the services provided by the Regional Inspectorate of South Sumatra Province are well integrated seen from the mechanisms and procedures in place organized, and there are obstacles to adaptation, namely that employees in completing inspection results reports (LHP) are often issued late due to delays in completing the report.
