ANALISIS PENGELOLAAN PENYIMPANAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI DI DINAS PENGENDALIAN PENDUDUK DAN KELUARGA BERENCANA KOTA PALEMBANG
This research was motivated by the inadequacy of facilities and infrastructure for the storage of contraceptives at the Palembang City Population and Family Planning Control Office, and the availability of contraceptives nearing expiration dates from the Palembang City Population and Family Planning Agency. One way to address this issue is by calculating the maximum and minimum inventory levels that can be used as a consideration when requesting contraceptive supplies from the South Sumatra Provincial National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN). The aims of this study were to analyze the management of contraceptive storage at the Palembang City Population and Family Planning Control Office. This research used a descriptive approach with data collection techniques including interviews and documentation related to the contraceptive storage process based on Palembang Mayor Regulation No. 51 of 2018. The theory used in this study is the management function theory by George R. Terry, which includes planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The results of this study showed that the stages of contraceptive storage were at 67%, the contraceptive storage warehouse building was at 79%, contraceptive recording administrative activities were at 100%, and contraceptive reporting was at 100%. The final contraceptive stock at the end of June 2024 exceeded the calculated minimum and maximum inventory levels, indicating an excess stock at the Palembang City Population and Family Planning Control Office.
