PENGARUH PSIKOEDUKASI BERBASIS PODCAST SPOTIFY TERHADAP TINGKAT DEPRESI, ANSIETAS, DAN STRES MAHASISWA ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA

Mental health is an important aspect that plays a major role in determining an individual's overall well-being. Nursing students include vulnerable groups which experience in mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and stress due to high academic demands, the pressures of clinical practice, and the emotional burden during the learning process. One effort that can be made to improve students understanding and skills in managing mental health is through a Spotify podcast-based psychoeducational intervention. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation on levels of depression, anxiety, and stress for Nursing students at Sriwijaya University. The type of the study was a pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample was taken by proportionate stratified random sampling, with 73 respondents. Data collection was conducted using the questionnaire of DASS-42 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scales). The Wilcoxon Matched Pairs test was used for analysis. The results showed a significant effect of Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation on depression levels with p-value = 0.000, there was significant effect between Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation and anxiety levels with p-value 0.000, and a significant effect of Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation on stress levels with p-value 0.000. Based on These results showed that an effect of Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation on depression, anxiety, and stress levels in nursing students. Spotify podcast-based psychoeducation can be used as an effective non-pharmacological intervention in reducing depression, anxiety, and stress levels in nursing students.
