The objectives of this study are to1) Identify and understand the perception among children of farmers in continuing their parents' work as rice farmers in Jati Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, 2) To analyze the factors that influence the interest of children of rice farmers in their parents' work as rice farmers in Jati Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency. This research will be conducted in Jati Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. The method used for data collection in this study is the survey method with the number of samples used in this study is 45 samples. Data were processed using Logistic Regression Multinomial Model (LRM) analysis and Likert scale. The results showed that the perception of farmer children towards parents' work as rice farmers in Jati Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency was in the interested criteria, meaning that in Jati Sari Village there was a regenari of rice farmers from among the children of rice farmers. Factors that influence the perception of farmer children towards parents' work as rice farmers in Jati Sari Village, Karang Agung Ilir Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, in log 1 (not interested) that have a significant effect are education, parents' income, and participation time in rice farming.
