FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS PEMBINA PALEMBANG
Pregnant women in Indonesia are more prone to iron deficiency anemia due to malnutrition and inadequate services. Anemia among pregnant women can be caused by lack of iron intake, food absorption problems, and increased iron requirements during pregnancy. The role of nurses related to problems that occur in the community is to motivate the community to cooperate in the development and implementation of health services and health education programs. They provide counseling to pregnant women on how to keep themselves healthy during pregnancy and increase maternal awareness about the possibility of high risk or occurrence of pregnancy complications and how to recognize these complications early. This study aims to determine the factors associated with anemia among pregnant women at Pembina Public Health Center Palembang. This study used an analytical survey research design with a sample of 39 people taken by purposive sampling. This research instrument used data collection format. The data was taken from medical records available in the medical records room at the Pembina Public Health Center Palembang. Statistical analysis of the study used the chi - square test and fisher exact test, the results of this study showed that there was no significant relationships (p> 0.05) on variable of maternal employment (p: 0.490), education level (p:0.688), maternal age (p: 0.139), pregnancy distance (p: 0.173), nutritional status (p: 0.137), and parity (p: 1.000). It is expected that future researchers can conduct research directly on anemic and non-anemic pregnant women to see the perspective and add variables that have not been studied in this study.
