PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EDUKASI PEMENUHAN NUTRISI DENGAN MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KELAHIRAN BBLR
Nutritional intake consumed by pregnant women during pregnancy greatly affects fetal growth and development. If a pregnant woman experiences nutritional deficiencies, this can have a negative impact on fetal development leading to a low-birth-weight baby. The existence of an attractive booklet is expected to increase nutritional knowledge of pregnant women. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of providing nutritional fulfilments education through booklet media on the knowledge of pregnant women in efforts to prevent LBW. This study was a quantitative study using a pre-experimental research design with a one group pre-post test design. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with 21 respondents as the sample. This study involved primigravida pregnant women during the period of trimester 1-3. The results showed that most respondents (66.7%) had good knowledge after being given education. The marginal homogeneity statistical test showed that there was a difference between before and after being given health education through booklet media on the level of knowledge of pregnant women with a p-value of 0.000 (p
