ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRESTASI AKADEMIK STUDENT ATHLETE DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Student athletes face dual demands to achieve academic achievement while maintaining athletic performance, thus requiring optimal self-management. This study aims to analyze factors influencing the academic achievement of student athletes at Sriwijaya University, including learning motivation, time management, physical fitness, family support, allowances and incentives, and the use of the Test Filit application in managing physical fitness data. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. The study sample consisted of Sriwijaya University student athletes who actively participate in academic and sports activities. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and physical fitness measurements using the Test Filit application. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that student athletes' academic achievement was in the good to excellent category. Simultaneously, learning motivation, time management, physical fitness, and external support influenced student athletes' academic achievement. The research findings indicate that learning motivation and good time management are dominant factors in maintaining stable academic achievement, while well-managed physical fitness supports concentration and learning endurance. Utilization of the Test Filit application has been proven to help the process of measuring and managing physical fitness more efficiently. The implications of this research demonstrate the importance of higher education institutions' support in providing flexible academic policies, adequate sports facilities, and utilizing technology to support the balance between academics and sports for student athletes. The strength of this research lies in the integration of internal and external factor analysis with the use of digital fitness applications, thus providing a more comprehensive picture of efforts to improve student athletes' academic achievement
