Sustainable food yard is a household yard management activity to meet family food needs independently and support biodiversity and environmental sustainability. The objectives of this research are to measure the role of assistants in utilizing the P2L program in Palembang City. This study was conducted in Palembang City, South Sumatra, from November to December 2024. The study was conducted in Seberang Ulu, Kemuning, and Gandus District in May-June 2025 using a purposive sampling method. The data used were primary and secondary data. The research results show that the role of assistant in the P2L program in the 15 Ulu, 20 Ilir, and Pulokerto districts of Palembang City is classified as medium. This indicates a strong sense of collaboration, shared goals, and mutual respect between assistant and women farmer group.
