UJI KINERJA ALAT PENGOLAHAN TANAH MENGGUNAKAN BAJAK SINGKAL PADA PERBEDAAN LEBAR MATA BAJAK DAN TIPE MATA BAJAK
This study aims to determine the effective working capacity of soil cultivation using a moldboard plow with different plow widths and types on dry land. This study was conducted from May 2025 to September at the Machine and Agricultural Equipment Workshop Laboratory, Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory, and Research Garden Laboratory of the Agricultural Technology Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya. The research method used was a field experiment, and the results are presented in tabular form. The research parameters consisted of main and supporting parameters. The main parameters were effective working capacity, theoretical working capacity, efficiency, and fuel requirements. The supporting parameters included travel time, traction force, wheel slip, soil turning width, number of wheel revolutions, moisture content, bulk density, plowing depth, and soil traction force. This study shows that the plow width and plow type combined into four treatments have the highest effective working capacity value of 0.051 m2/s and the highest working efficiency of 94.77% in the treatment with a plow width of 18 cm and a fork-type plow.
