PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN RUMAH SAKIT KHUSUS ORTOPEDI DAN TRAUMATOLOGI SUMATERA SELATAN
The high number of patients suffering from orthopedic diseases in South Sumatra requires hospitals that provide special services in the field of orthopedics. The patient's healing process is not only carried out through health services but also based on the environmental conditions around the patient. The Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Traumatology in South Sumatra uses a biophilic concept that integrates the natural environment into the building. This is done to create a healing environment in the hospital that can help the patient's healing process. The biophilic concept utilizes the advantages of the natural environment which can bring a sense of comfort and security to individuals. One application of the biophilic idea in the design of the Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Traumatology in South Sumatra is to create a rehabilitation park that can be used as a therapy facility for patients. The design concept for the rehabilitation park adapts the walking therapy program for orthopedic patients, where there is a slope with a certain slope and the use of various materials to train the patient's motor skills. The addition of vegetation elements in the garden area also creates an interaction between the patient and the natural environment to ensure that the patient does not feel bored during the therapy program.
