Background: Anemia is a common health problem among adolescent girls and can lead to decreased productivity, learning concentration, and academic performance. Medical students are expected to have good knowledge and attitudes toward anemia prevention; however, such understanding is not always reflected in preventive behaviors. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes and anemia prevention behavior among female medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sriwijaya, class of 2025. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. Total sampling was applied, and data were collected using an online questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test and binary logistic regression. Results: The results showed that all respondents had good knowledge (100.00%) and most had positive attitudes toward anemia prevention (95.73%). However, there was no significant relationship between knowledge and anemia prevention behavior (p>0.05), nor between attitudes and anemia prevention behavior (p>0.05). Conclusion: Good knowledge and attitudes are not necessarily reflected in anemia prevention behavior. Keywords: anemia, knowledge, attitudes, preventive behavior, female medical students
