The procedure for calculating and paying employee salaries is an important aspect in the financial management of the Palembang Manpower Office. This observation focuses on the procedure for calculating and paying salaries to assess their effectiveness and efficiency. The method used is a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that salary calculations include basic salary, allowances, tax deductions, and other contributions. The salary payment process is carried out via bank transfer, which aims to increase transparency and minimize errors in salary distribution. Although this system has been running well, there are obstacles such as delays due to the verification process which takes longer. Therefore, optimization of the digital recording system and increased coordination are needed to increase efficiency. The results of this observation are expected to provide insight into the procedure for calculating and paying employee salaries at the Palembang Manpower Office.
