Elementary school children are a vulnerable group to sexual violence; therefore, early education on sexual violence prevention is essential. The persistent social stigma surrounding discussions of sexuality contributes to limited sexual knowledge among children, highlighting the need for preventive measures through health education to improve their understanding. This study aimed to examine the differences in the effectiveness of PUMA GAMES and FLIPMORY CHART media on elementary school students’ knowledge of sexual violence prevention. This study used a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest–posttest framework. The sample was selected using proportional stratified random sampling, involving a total of 66 students who were divided into two groups. The data analysis revealed that more than half of the respondents were female (51,6%), with fewer than half aged 8 years (41,9%), and that the increase in knowledge before and after the intervention was higher in the PUMA GAMES group compared to the FLIPMORY CHART group. The paired t-test results indicated a significant effect of health education on knowledge improvement in both the PUMA GAMES and FLIPMORY CHART groups (p = 0.00). Meanwhile, the independent t-test comparing the two media yielded a p-value of 0.295, indicating no statistically significant difference between PUMA GAMES and FLIPMORY CHART. Both PUMA GAMES and FLIPMORY CHART can be utilized as effective health education methods to enhance elementary school students’ knowledge of sexual violence prevention. These media incorporate visually engaging images with attractive colors and audiovisual elements that stimulate both auditory and visual senses, which play a dominant role in information reception and cognitive processing in the brain.
