ANALISIS KINERJA GAPOKTAN PETANI BERSATU DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN PRODUKTIVITAS DAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI PADI DI KELURAHAN SUNGAI SELINCAH KECAMATAN KALIDONI KOTA PALEMBANG

Farmer institutions are one of the key elements in developing rice farming. This study aims to (1) measure the performance of the Gapoktan Petani Bersatu in Sungai Selincah Village, (2) calculate the productivity and income of rice farming among farmers who are members of the Gapoktan Petani Bersatu, (3) analyze the relationship between the performance of the Gapoktan with rice farming productivity and income. This research employed a case study method, with samples selected using quota sampling, purposive sampling, and simple random sampling, resulting in a total of 74 rice farmer respondents. The results of the study are (1) The performance of the Gapoktan Petani Bersatu in Sungai Selincah is categorized as low, with an achievement rate of 51.80%, (2) Rice farming productivity in Sungai Selincah reached 4,374 kg/ha, classified as medium. The average income of rice farmers in the area was Rp8.670.294, which is classified as low category, and (3) There is no significant relationship between the performance of the Gapoktan and rice productivity, with a correlation coefficient of 0.148 (very weak correlation). There is a positive and significant relationship between the performance of the Gapoktan and rice farming income, with a correlation coefficient of 0.324 (weak correlation).
