ANALISIS EFISIENSI PENGGUNAAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR PRODUKSI DAN PENDAPATAN PADA USAHATANI KANGKUNG(IPOMOEA REPTANS) DI DESA PULAU SEMAMBU KECAMATAN INDRALAYA UTARA

Land such as in pulau semambu village, indralaya utara sub-district, has an important role in supporting horticultural agricultural activities, especially water spinach (Ipomoea reptans). This study aims to: (1) calculating the income of Water Spinach farmers in pulau semambu village, north indralaya district; (2) analyzing the production factors that affect the yield of water spinach; and (3) analyzing the allocative efficiency of input use in water spinach farming. The research was conducted in june 2024 using survey method and simple random sampling technique. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources, and analyzing descriptively and regression using cobb-douglas production function. The results showed that among the six production factors analyzing, only land area had a significant effect on production yield. Seed, manure, urea fertilizer, pesticides, and labor showed no significant effect. Based on allocative efficiency analysis, labor is the only input that is used efficiently (npm = 1). Seeds and labor need to be increased, while the use of manure, urea fertilizer, and pesticides needs to be reduced. The average annual income from water spinach farming in pulau semambu village is idr 18,555,199 per land area per year.
