OPTIMALISASI CADANGAN MARGINAL BATUBARA MENGGUNAKAN METODE AUGER MINING PADA PT. BUKIT ASAM, TBK DALAM PENERAPAN ASPEK KONSERVASI BATUBARA
PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk is a company that is actively engaged in coal mining. One of the pits owned by PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk, namely Pit 2 Banko Barat, will reach its economic limit, so a reserve conservation plan is needed in an effort to maximize the reserves in Pit 2 Banko Barat. The reserve optimization plan is the implementation of mining using the auger mining method as a reserve maximization. This study aims to help PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk to analyze Pit 2 Banko Barat as a potential target area and the feasibility of a conservation plan using the auger mining method. The research method used is the quantitative method. Based on the results of the research conducted, the mining design using the auger mining method meets the standards starting from Pit 2 Banko Barat which meets the standards as a potential location, then the mining geometry meets safety standards, and meets the standards in economic feasibility. Seam A1 has a pillar width of 1.5 m with FK 1.34, Seam A2 has a pillar width of 1.3 m with FK 1.31, Seam B1 has a pillar width of 1.6 m with FK 1.41, Seam B2 has a pillar width of 1.6 m with FK 1.36, Seam C has a pillar width of 1.8 with FK 1.42. The capital cost of this project is $ 9,216,144 and the operating cost starts from $ 11.59/ton in 2028, $ 11.75/ton in 2029, $ 11.68/ton in 2030, $ 11.98/ton in 2031 to $ 12.10/ton in 2032. The cash flow in this conservation plan is $ 23,699,637, so the Net Present Value of this project is $ 8,411,366 and the Internal Rate of Return is 38%. Therefore, this auger mining project is declared feasible for operation.
