ANALISIS CURAH HUJAN DAN TEMPERATUR TERKAIT PERISTIWA ENSO DI KOTA PALEMBANG PADA TAHUN 2001-2020
Climate change has become an urgent issue with significant impacts on the environment, health, and economy. This study aims to analyze climate variability in South Sumatra, particularly in Palembang City, related to ENSO (El Niño-Southern Oscillation) events during the 2001-2020 period. The annual temperature anomaly variation in Palembang shows a long-term increasing trend with peak anomalies during El Niño years, such as 2016, reaching an increase of 0.35°C, and La Niña years, such as 2010, showing the highest rainfall of 295 mm. This study demonstrates that ENSO events have a significant influence on climate variability in Palembang. These findings are important for planning and mitigating the impacts of climate change in South Sumatra. Keywords: Temperature, Rainfall, ENSO, Temperature Anomaly
