TRADISI SETAWAR SEDINGIN DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA ANTAR SUKU REJANG DI KABUPATEN REJANG LEBONG TAHUN 1985-2022

This research is entitled "The Tradition of Sekapur Sirih and Setawar Sedingin in Resolving Disputes Between Rejang Tribes in Rejang Lebong Regency 2007-2017". The problem raised in this research is regarding the development of the sekapur betel and setawar secepat traditions in resolving disputes in 2007-2017. Apart from that, it also discusses the stages in solving it. The aim of this research is not only to find out about its development and stages, but also the role of the government in strengthening the traditions of sekapur sirih and setawar sedingin. This research process was carried out using qualitative methods through several stages, namely observation, interviews and data analysis. The data analysis stage is carried out through data reduction, data display and conclusions. Meanwhile, the approaches used in this research are the anthropological approach, sociological approach and legal approach. The results of this research show that there is development in this tradition. One of them is the role of the government in strengthening this tradition through the inauguration of Gubuk (Joint Business Movement for Justice) restorative justice by the High District Prosecutor's Office of Bengkulu Province.
