PENGARUH PERLAKUAN AMONIASI-FERMENTASI (AMOFER) TERHADAP KUALITAS KIMIA KLOBOT JAGUNG MENGGUNAKAN EM4 (Effective Microorganism) DAN UREA
Corn cob is an agricultural waste that can be used as an alternative solution to the problem of feed shortage. Corn clobber has a high crude fiber content as well as low crude protein and crude fat, so to improve the chemical quality of corn clobber and reduce crude fiber content, ammoniation-fermentation (amofer) technology using urea and EM4 is necessary. This study aims to determine the effect of ammoniation, fermentation and amofer treatment on the chemical quality of corn clobber using EM4 (Effective Microorganism) and urea. This research was conducted from November to December 2023 at the Animal Nutrition and Food Laboratory of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replicates, R0 (Control), R1 (Ammoniated corn cob + 2% urea), R2 (Fermented corn cob + 6% EM4), R3 (Amofered corn cob + 2% urea + 6% EM4). The variables observed in this study were the content of dry matter (BK), organic matter (BO), crude fat (LK), crude fiber (SK) and crude protein (PK). The data of this study were analyzed using ANOVA, if significant effect was continued by Duncan's test. The results showed that ammoniation-fermentation treatment had a significant effect (P
