STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN EKOWISATA BAHARI PANTAI TONGACI DI KOTA SUNGAILIAT KABUPATEN BANGKA
Ecotourism is a form of tourism that prioritizes environmental conservation, education, and the social and economic well-being of local communities. Bangka Island, particularly Tongaci Beach in Sungailiat City, holds significant potential for the development of marine ecotourism through its natural beauty and sea turtle conservation at the Tukik Babel hatchery. This study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors and to formulate an appropriate development strategy for marine ecotourism at Tongaci Beach. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach. The results indicate that the most suitable approach is an aggressive strategy, which maximizes strengths and opportunities, particularly in sea turtle conservation and environmental management. Strengthening infrastructure, improving waste management, and implementing disaster mitigation are key to ensuring the sustainability of the area.The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach.
