HUBUNGAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN ILMIAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA METERI KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 2 TUNGKAL JAYA
This study aims to analyze the relationship between critical thinking skills and scientific reasoning skills to the learning outcomes of students in class X biodiversity material at SMA Negeri 2 Tungkal Jaya. The correlational research method uses three variables, namely critical thinking skills and scientific reasoning ability as independent variables, then learning outcomes as dependent variables. Sampling was done through random sampling techniques. The sample is 106 students in class X. The data collection technique uses a double-choice question instrument. Data analysis techniques were carried out by descriptive methods, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that critical thinking skills and learning outcomes had a positive and significant relationship with the low category (r = 0.246) with an influence of 6.1%, scientific reasoning ability and learning outcomes had a positive and significant relationship with the medium category (r = 0.418) with an influence of 17.5%. Furthermore, simultaneously, critical thinking skills and scientific reasoning skills on the learning outcomes of biodiversity materials have a positive and significant relationship with the medium category (r = 0.455) with an influence of 20.7%. The regression equation in this study is Y = 14,839 + 0,156X_1 + 0,358X_2.
