Sari, Rani Permata - Personal Name;

RANI PERMATA SARI. The Comparison of Oil Palm Production Factors Between Peatland and Dryland in Mulyaguna Village Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. (Supervised by YUNITA) Palm oil is vital to Indonesia's agribusiness, particularly in South Sumatra. Farmers on peat and dry lands face unique challenges that demand targeted management for better efficiency and income. The purpose of this study was 1) Analyze the comparison of income received between peatland and dryland oil palm farmers in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District. 2). Analyze the differences in productivity factors of oil palm farming between peatland and dryland in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District 3). Analyze the efficiency of production factor use of oil palm farming on peatland and dryland in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District. The results of this study are (1) The average income from peatland oil palm farming is IDR 14,645,512 per hectare per year. Meanwhile, the average total income from dry land oil palm farming is IDR 28,411,463 per hectare per year with an income difference of IDR 13,765,950 or 31.97 percent. (2) The factors affecting palm oil productivity on peatlands are seedlings, NPK, KCl, dolomite, pesticides, labor, and land area. On dry land, the factors affecting productivity are seedlings, NPK, KCl, pesticides, labor, and land area. (3) The results of the factors influencing palm oil productivity on peatland are seeds, NPK, KCl, dolomite, pesticides, labor, and land area. On dry land, the influencing factors are seeds, NPK, KCl, pesticides, labor, and land area. The production factors of seedlings, urea, KCl, and pesticides in palm oil farming on peatlands are technically inefficient based on efficiency analysis, whereas NPK, labor, land area, and dolomite are already efficient. The production factors of NPK and KCl in palm oil farming on dry land are technically inefficient based on efficiency analysis, whereas seedlings, urea, labor, pesticides, and land area are already efficient. Keyword : dry land, income comparison, production factors, peat land.
