In analyzing this research, the Economic Action Theory of Max Weber is used. And the problems raised in this study are the Socio-Economic profile of Vegetable traders at the Polantas Tuesday Morning Market and the factors that encourage people to become vegetable traders so that they choose vegetable traders as a job. The purpose of this study is to determine the socio- economic profile of vegetable traders, this study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Profile of vegetable traders at the Polantas Tuesday Morning Market includes social vegetable traders who come from diverse backgrounds and education with varying social statuses, they have a low level of education who generally run small micro businesses with uncertain incomes with educational backgrounds at Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) only running a vegetable trading business to meet daily needs. and Factors that encourage people to become vegetable traders based on economic needs and the narrow job market where invitations from friends to work as vegetable traders to the community to enter the informal sector and get income that can improve the family economy.
