RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BRASSICA JUNCEA L. PADA BEBERAPA WAKTU PINDAH TANAM DAN DOSIS VERMIKOMPOS

This study aims to find and determine the best dosage and transplanting time on the growth and yield of caisim (Brassica Juncea L.). This research was conducted at Pondok Hijau boarding house, North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, South Sumatra province with coordinates 3°12'39" N and 104°39'12" E. The research began in June until September 2023. The research used Randomized Block Factorial Design consisting of 2 (two) factors. The first factor was the application of vermicompost fertilizer with 3 (three) treatments and the second factor was the seedling age with 3 (three) treatments and 3 (three) replications. Each replication contained 2 (two) plants so that the total number of plants was 54 plants. There were 21 parameters observed, consisting of daily leaf length, and width, daily petiole length, length and width ratio, weekly leaf length, weekly petiole length, number of leaves, plant height, canopy area, crown diameter, leaf greenness, root length, leaf fresh weight, stem fresh weight, petiole fresh weight, root fresh weight, leaf dry weight, stem dry weight, petiole dry weight, root dry weight. Seed sowing for 20 days with a dose of vermicompost has a good effect on the growth and production of caisim.
