KARAKTERISASI RESERVOAR MENGGUNAKAN ATRIBUT RMS ABPLITUDE DAN SWEETNESS PADA LAPANGAN “MZ” FORMASI PETANI DAN TELISA CEKUNGAN SUMATERA TENGAH

Zafri, Muhamad Abdul - Personal Name;

Oil and gas exploration was carried out by characterizing the distribution of reservoirs based on sesimic attributes in the “MZ” field of the Petani and Telisa Formation, Central Sumatra Basin, precisely at the GR 1 well. During the data period, 3D seismic data, well data, marker data and chekshoot data were used. This research aims to identify potential reservoirs based on gamma ray log data and the results of reservoirs distribution characterization based on seismic attributes. The attributes used are RMS amplitude and sweetness attribute. The result obtained are in the form of a map in the time structure which will be made into an RMS amplitude and sweetness attribute map, where the color contrast in the map results shows the high or low areas of reservoir potential. Based on the RMS amplitude and sweetness attributes, the Telisa Formation in a high area, characterized by amplitude values of 24000-26000 ms for the RMS amplitude attribute and 4800-5400 ms for the sweetness attribute. The low area found in the Petani Formation is characterized by amplitude values og 16000-20000 for the RMS amplitude attribute and 4500-5100 ms for the sweetness attribute. Based on the results of the RMS amplitude and sweetness attribute map, the distribution of potential reservoirs is in the west and north west areas around the will with high amplitude values marked with contrasting orange and yellow colors which will be rich in sand layers with the possibility of hydrocarbon content in them.
