PENGARUH APLIKASI BIOMASSA, KOMPOS DAN WET ASH TERHADAP SERAPAN N, P DAN K PADA TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (ZEA MAYS SACCHARATA STURT) DI ULTISOL
Ultisol is a soil that is classified as having low fertility. Judging from its wide distribution, Ultisol soil has great potential to be used as agricultural cultivation land. This research aims to determine the effect and best dose of biomass, compost and wet ash application on N, P and K uptake in sweet corn plants in ultisol. This research was carried out in the Field Laboratory of the Soil Department and analysis was carried out in the Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility Laboratory of the Soil Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This research will start in November 2023 to March 2024. The method used in this research was a Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 16 treatments and 3 replications, with sweet corn as an indicator plant. Biomass, compost, N P K and wet ash treatments were applied at different doses. In this study, the treatment was 100% biomass Produced the highest N uptake value at P4 of 1.545, with treatment 75% biomass + 15% compost + 10% wet ash produced the highest P uptake value at P3 of 0.173, and treatment 25% NPK + 25% biomass + 65% compost + 10% wet ash produced the highest K absorption value at P9 of 5,478.
