PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BIOMASSA, KOMPOS, DAN WET ASH, TERHADAP PRODUKSI TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) PADA ULTISOL
Ultisols that are utilised continuously, without paying attention to the management of organic matter and fertility levels, result in decreased soil productivity. To determine the best dosage of biomass, compost, and wet ash on Ultisol in the field laboratory of soil department on sweet corn crop production. To determine the production of sweet corn on the application of biomass, compost, and wet ash on Ultisol in the soil department field laboratory. This research will be conducted from November 2023 to March 2024 in the field laboratory of the soil department of Sriwijaya University with Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The results of the research obtained were carried out ANOVA variance test if the treatment had a significant effect on the 5% F test then continued by conducting BNT0,05 to see the real difference in response between treatments. Based on the conclusion of this study, namely the provision of biomass, compost and wet ash treatment has a significant effect on cob diameter, cob weight, cob length and production in sweet corn plants.
