The methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing purposive sampling. The study utilizes documentation and questionnaire methods and analyzes data using statistical techniques, particularly SPSS Version 26. Hypothesis testing using the T-test yielded a Sig. value of 0.000 for the influence of parenting styles on discipline, indicating significance below the predetermined level of 0.05. Furthermore, the calculated t-value of 8.784 exceeds the relevant t-table value of 2.024, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha), indicating a positive and significant influence of parenting styles on student discipline. Regression analysis indicates a goodness of fit of 67% for the regression equation, with the remaining 33% explained by other factors. The regression coefficient for parenting style (X) is 0.420, suggesting a 0.420 increase in discipline for every one-unit increase in parenting style. Additionally, the constant value (α) of 15.583 implies a positive discipline value of 15.583 when parenting style is assumed to be zero. It can be concluded that parental attention to parenting styles significantly influences student discipline. This study suggests that fostering positive and supportive parenting styles can enhance the quality of education at SMP Pramula Palembang and improve overall student learning achievement.
