RESPON KANDUNGAN K-DD TANAH, KTK TANAH DAN PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN TOMAT CERI (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN KOMPOS TANDAN KOSONG KELAPA SAWIT DAN PUPUK NPK

Wardiani, Citra Tria - Personal Name;

Ultisols have great potential for agricultural cultivation, but have low soil fertility. Cherry tomato is a commercial vegetable crop that requires a balanced nutrient content. Application of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Compost (OPEFB) combined with NPK fertilizer can increase the productivity of Ultisol. This research aims to get the dose that has the best effect on soil Exch-K, soil CEC and cherry tomato plant growth. This research was conducted in the Plastic House, Agrotech Training Center (ATC) Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from December 2023 to February 2024. The implementation of the research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRFD) consisting of two factors with 5 levels of treatment and repeated 3 times to get 45 polybag units. The results showed that the provision of NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on root dry weight. The application of OPEFB compost has a significant effect on root dry weight and crown dry weight. However, the interaction of NPK fertilizer and OPEFB compost only significantly affected the root dry weight. The combination of NPK fertilizer and OPEFB compost at a dose of (0,5 tons of NPK + 20 tons of OPEFB compost ha-1) showed the best results on early flower emergence, early fruit emergence and early harvest. In addition, it produced the highest value on soil Exch-K and CEC content.
