PENGARUH HARA NPK TERHADAP PEMULIHAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) PASCA KEMARAU DI LAHAN RAWA LEBAK.
The aim of this research was to determine the optimal NPK fertilizer dosage for oil palm plants after the dry season and to study the response of oil palm plants in peat swamp land to NPK fertilizer. The study was conducted at the PT. Buyung oil palm plantation in Pulau Negara Village, Pemulutan Barat District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, with the position of 3°11’17”S 104°42’04”E. The research employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with six treatments and five blocks, resulting in a total of 30 samples. The NPK fertilizer (13-6-27) treatment used in the study were as follows: P0 = 0 kg/plant as control, P1 = 2 kg/plant, P2 = 2.5 kg/plant, P3 = 3 kg/plant, P4 = 3.5 kg/plant, and P5 = 4 kg/plant. The results of the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) showed that the NPK fertilizer treatment per plant significantly affected the number of spear leaves and the number of fruit bunches at week fifteen. It did not significantly affect the variables of number of fronds, chlorotic fronds, fracture fronds, female flower bunches, male flower bunches, and fruit bunches weight. The NPK fertilizer dosage of 4 kg/plant resulted in a more number of female flower bunches.
