ANALISIS SEMIOTIK FENOMENA MENGEMIS DI LIVE TIKTOK (STUDI PADA AKUN @anandaa)

Begging is an activity where individuals ask for material assistance from other people. The development of the increasingly modern era has made begging activities not only carried out on the street but can also be done on live TikTok. This study aims to see the meaning and symbols of begging activities contained in the TikTok live video on the @anandaa account. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative type. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and documentation. The data examination and validity techniques used in this study are triangulation of sources and data. This study uses Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. From the results of the analysis carried out on the live video conducted on July 18, 2024, there were 18 signs of begging that were carried out, such as pictures of gifts displayed on the live broadcast screen that were displayed from the beginning to the end of the live, there was a backsound that accompanied the live from the beginning to the end of the live, there were comments from the audience, there was interaction between the audience and the account owner, the account owner asked for likes and gifts from the audience, there were gifts given, there were activities carried out after being given gifts.
